Stamp Scrapbooking for beginners

Hi everyone, this is my first post! In this blog I intend to talk about my adventures in stamp scrapbooking and the stuff I use, as well as where I find them. Hopefully this blog will inspire you to start your own stamp scrapbook. I will talk about stamp scrapbooking in general as well as more in-depth on some topics such as the types of stamps you can use and how to get them.

Scrapbooking Stamps are stamps that can be used in stamp scrapbooks as a decoration, to add to the design aesthetics of the scrapbook. They can refer to two things in general. The first thing can refer to postage stamps that are stuck to a scrapbook as part of the design. These stamps can be collected from old letters and mail and are already used, or they could be brand new ones that are stuck onto the pages. The second type of stamp can refer to wood, rubber, plastic or acrylic stamps that can imprint different patterns onto the pages of a scrapbook in ink. Most people will be using the second type of stamp, which is the solid block stamp. These stamps can come in different shapes and sizes and colors, each with its own reusable, unique pattern carefully and intricately carved into the design.

Here are some examples of the two types of scrapbooking stamps.

These are paper stamps, which come in many patterns and desgins. They can be stuck to a scrapbook with the adhesive found at the back of the stamp.

This is an acrylic stamp. It works by coating a pattern with ink then stamping the imprint onto a piece of paper in a scrapbook, leaving a mark behind. These stamps are reusable for multiple times.
