Digital Scrapbooking

Hello everyone, today I will be talking about digital scrapbooking. Although Digital scrapbooking may require certain software and hardware hardware in order to function properly, it does not require you to make major purchases since you can use the equipment you already have. Additonally, it is highly customisable and easy to store, share and modify in future. Digital scrapbooking is an affordable, effective and easy way to preserve memories. Digital scrapbooking is easy to learn and you do not need to worrk about making mistakes because it is easy to start over or undo. Modern software has made this task of digital scrapping even easier as software gets more and more powerful. Digital scrapbooks are easy to customise and modify to your own liking, such as changing the design or color scheme on the pages.

You will need to use digital photographs from a digital camera, or use a scanner to scan images in order to edit and use them. A good piece of software to use is Adobe Photoshop, and a freeware alternative is called the GIMP, which you can download at no cost. You can enhance your photographs by adding special effects and filters such as blurs and artistic designs, then crop them to your desired size. The result is easy to save into different formats and stored in portable media formats.

Cool text fonts and clip art images can all be downloaded from the internet for free, allowing you many choices to decorate your scrapbook. You don't have to show others your ugly handwriting, instead you can just use a beautiful font you downloaded. After creating your scrapbook pages, you can make them into decorated scrapbook photo albums and give them to others as a gift after printing them out. Alternatively, you can send them through the internet or on a CD, which is convenient as well.
